Xin's Child is full of loveIgnus Euclia was raised with one parent in the Coalition (that was how the two had met) and one parent involved in the bustling trade aspect of the Arcadian Capital City of Ignus. Dion was a fairly aggressive busker to begin with, but meeting a female Saklarian of the Coalition who didn't respond to his brand of flirting?  That just made him more interested.  After making sure that it wasn't a matter of him harassing her, just a wrong flavor of flirting, the two struck up a relationship that was littered with her disappearing on this mission or that.  Eventually, the two exchanged dowry and lock of hair, and settled down. It took a few years of trying before they got a child from it, and the two (and their families) took it in good humor when their daughter had the same Melanistic mutation they had.  The odds had been increased, sure, but it wasn't guaranteed.
