Sinead lived on Cruix, like any Drannd smart enough to leave Tir.  (And who wouldn't, she felt, seeing as the Devourers were eating people!)  She was ten when she got there, and became accustomed to the way things operated in the Divergent Rift.  Her dad raised them both in the Traditional, and in the UnTraditional ways.  Traditional because he was sure they'd encounter it.  Untraditional because that was his boss and boss' family to a 'T.'  (Not that he minded, really.)

She'd had the idea while younger, and had nearly always managed to squirrel away a little of her spending money, but when she was an adult, the idea sunk in in totality.  She decided that as much as the idea terrified her, she was leaving the Rift.  No one treated her quite like a doll, as Olcan warned her was prevalent back on Tir, and that she remembered from the first ten years of her live, if vaguely.  But she wanted more.

So she saved up, through the tail-end of the years where other planets were being divested of population through both exodus and consumption.  She plotted, and yes, tricked her brother into paying her some of his wages, and got the paperwork together to make herself a citizen of Cruix Capital when she got there.

She tried to accustom herself to the culture, and worked small jobs.  She worked her way up to actually managing a small crew of employees at a small store (perhaps a redundancy, but her crew was about four people and the store had a staff of sixteen), where they sold household supplies- mainly.
Drannd belong to Tenor
Sinead's father's employers belong to Tenor and GiaZeries
Sinead's mother belongs to CressieCake

[She's still determined to get out of the house space, but it's not as drastic because she was already on Cruix.  Nothing against the Malleos she swears!]
