IE: Creole

Creole was a choreographer, behind the scenes of things.  Not often considered when people were looking for support in this charity or that, on the TV screens and publicity events.  But she knew about the situation, and was determined to do what she could to help.  Yes, there were some people who knew a dance or routine was hers but that was because they'd been following her work for years.

And that was what she used to provide the support she could.  For a few TV segments about fundraising or providing homes, if there was need of dance choreography, she was the one who set it up.  People who knew her work knew she was offering her support, and as a fan of hers, were more inclined to help as well.

On the occasions where someone actually approached her in person for an endorsement, as long as they were doing what they claimed they would, in favor of getting people help, she'd agree to add her name to the list.  But yeah, she did her research.  Or her daughter, Mab did and told her who was safe or not.
