Fresh from the move to Raotani lands, and merging (fairly) seamlessly into their new tribe, Ket and Tem mated and very promptly thereafter had their first child, Sua.  She was in the classic colors of Bemy, varying shades of purple, some of which was inherited from her mother, some from her father (or so she'd swear the pinks were close enough to be excusable).  Why was this important?  It wasn't, really, to anyone else.  She just had decided it was important to her, had professed a fondness for the color purple and so was often found to be staring at the various shades other Bemy wore.  Some would be willing to part with locks of hair or shed fur when she made begging eyes at them, and were amused at how accurately she could identify each person by the fur or hair she'd gotten.

Her parents were still adjusting to some of the differences between Enaku and Raotani while raising her, so Sua was regularly worried about getting something wrong.  Those military people that they spoke of were okay to speak of, were okay to socialize with, if one was near the base for chores to help the Tribe or if one was a Skih.  The Alpha, as intimidating as she was, was okay to talk to- not that Enaku's hadn't been, but Ala was scary!  The other pups weren't judging her as much as she thought, she was sure, but she was still sure they were looking at her funny for her love of purple.

She heard her parents whispering worriedly about many things to one another at night, and could almost be said to be a regular worry-wart herself as she grew because of it.  Not only because she thought she was going to get something wrong, but because she genuinely cared about people.  She worried about their health, happiness and what they were up to.

Some of the worry vented in the requests for the purples, (as well as her just genuinely enjoying the color) and some of it was side-ways vented into the sounds she'd cheerily make while playing games with others.  Sometimes they were well-timed and garnered her appreciative reactions to her mimicry, and others were not so well timed, and just got her funny looks.  Most of the time, she came off as playful, but she heard a fair few remarks about how odd she behaved.

Oddness aside, when she started trying out Roles in the Tribe, she was serious about it, and gave her all.  She just proved to not be a good fit for Solo, Scout or Tracker because she'd wind up worrying too much about the Tribe, home, and family to do her job- or make one of her funny sound sets in the middle of training that would ruin the general mindset.  So she stayed in the main parts of the Tribal lands.

She practiced working with wood, but was always a little too anxious about how difficult it was to correct mistakes in that medium.  So she switched to clay- and practically fell in love.  As long as she kept it moist enough, she could fairly easily erase any mistakes she made in the clay.  And even if it dried out, as long as she was willing to wait a little longer, she could put the clay project back into a slip bowl and let it return to a wet state.

So she settled in and learned everything she could.  Where to find it, which sections yielded what types of clay- how to make clay into the sloppy stuff they made things from.  She learned how to work with the raw stuff too, the tools to put in finer details than her meaty paws and claws could manage, and the things she could use to stain color to the clay.

She enjoyed making pieces enough that she didn't take too long to have her teacher comfortable letting her work on her own and then unsupervised.  Though this was not revealed to her for a while, knowing she would wind herself up about it and make the mistakes she was trying not to in working with clay.)  By the time she knew she was working without her teacher sort of watching over her shoulder she was just about comfortable enough for it

Eventually, even she felt ready for her to work on the project that would be her graduating one.  As Bemy they didn't necessarily need all the finely detailed things, but enjoyed them.  However, the soldiers in the GUARD station enjoyed seeing some of the craft, and bought pieces every so often, to send home.  Sua's 'graduation' project was a set of dishes she intended to make pretty enough (and purple, of course purple, that had become her signature among the Shives).  She made a full complement of her odd little noises when the Skih returned saying that the dishes had indeed been bought, and she made even more when teased that the soldier that did so might have as big a thing about purple as she did.
