SheeringWhen RosTres was around the age of twelve, he made a decision about magic.  He wanted to study it.  So, with members of his tribe keeping him out of trouble- he was still a child by Bemy standards even, he looked for a Zol who might be willing to teach him for a price he could afford.  Eventually he found one, and with his mother as an escort, he approached that Zol with an idea.  The Zol, one DivTres, would teach RosTres how to use magic, and if the magic showed up before the Bemy born of a Zol father had lived twenty years, the younger would continue to study magic until he could master at least one spell and become the best Stock he could.  If not, well, the boy knew the price would be high from the get go, so not making it past twenty was not an idea that surprised him.  Fortunately, DivTres was male, and thus RosTres wouldn't get in trouble for studying Creation Magic.  He'd heard what happened to men who studied women's magic, and wasn't aiming

Because the picture would NOT leave my head unless I drew it. Literally. I've spent the better part of a week resisting the urge to draw this. XD

Edit: I avoided drawing it because I figured I wouldn't do justice to the image in my head. Ironically, this is pretty true to what I saw, so I'm actually kinda happy. XD
